Issues Watch & Health Policy

NCCC and its partners follow or bring to attention policy issues that will improve health care delivered to Chronic Care patients in Nevada through access, affordability, innovation, and prevention.

Nevada Legislation

2026 is an interim year for the Nevada Legislature. Which means they are out of session. However, there will be an Interim Session to prepare for the new legislative session in 2027. Here are the Interim Committees for the session:

Federal Legislation

NCCC is a member of the Chronic Care Policy Alliance (CCPA), which is a state-by-state and national organization. CCPA keeps us in touch with what's going on in other states and in Congress. Here are some of the bills they suggest we watch in Congress.

Advocating

NVCC advocates for those with chronic conditions. We welcome other advocacy organization as members and actively search for patients to share their stories with us and legislators. You can advocate with us by:

2. Attending out Biennial Legislative Policy Summit. DATE COMING FOR 2026!

3. Attend out Advocacy Day. Coming in 2027!

4. Send us a note if you are a patient willing to help advocate. Send us your contact information and story through out contact page.
